FAQ & Investment

PINYou’re going to have many questions along the way, and that’s ok!  I’m here to help with whatever I can to make this a smooth and easy process.  Below, you will find frequently asked questions as well as what you can expect your investment to be based on my current rates.

What should my family wear?

The most important thing is to make sure you and your children are comfortable.  Any insecurities or unnatural feelings will come through in the photos.  So, well fitting, comfortable clothing is key.  After that, think coordinating, but NOT matching.  Don’t be afraid to mix patterns that have a cohesive color scheme.  Stay away from graphics and logos.  Once you think you have a base for an outfit, try adding a few layers.  Layers and textures go a long way in your photographs.  Your photo sessions is also a great place to let loose and play around with looks.  Don’t be afraid of bold hair pieces, floral crowns, statement jewelry, lace tights, layered socks…really anything to give your photos that extra oomph.  I’m more than happy to help coordinate outfits for you if this seems daunting!

What if my children don’t cooperate?

We’ve all been there!  It seems like no matter when you schedule your photo session, someone will inevitably miss their nap, wake up sick, be hungry, and whatever else that could go wrong…does!  DO NOT STRESS!!  Your kids will sense your stress and it will only make things worse.  Instead, just relax and know that I am experienced in dealing with all types of children.  And if things go really bad, I am always willing to discuss the option of trying again on a different date.  I want you (and the kids) to be nothing but happy!

What is your availability?

I typically am booked a month or two in advance.  I also only shoot a limited number of weekends a year and prefer to have most of my shoots on weekdays.  Contact me as soon as possible to ensure the best availability.

How much of an investment should I expect?

I’ve recently switched over to an all-inclusive model.  This means that everything is included for one price.  You will get a link to view and download your gallery after our shoot.  Family and maternity shoots are $600 total.  Newborn shoots are $750 total.

Where is your studio located?

My studio is located in Easton, Maryland and is fully equipped to welcome you and your family.
